Suzanne and Dave have dove with Honolulu Honu Divers in the past. Guess they were treated Well enough to make them want to come back and DO IT LIKE IT SHOULD BE DONE! once again. 5 dives in 2 days of diving. First it was the west side where we dove the Deep Barge then off to Makaha Caverns. Hawaiian greensea turtles, eel and plenty of endemic fish known only to the waters of Hawai’i. Day 2 was off to the east side of Diamondhead where we spotted a fever of 3 spotted eaglerays. Then off for a small voyage to hit the Sea Tiger. Upon descent we saw two whitetip reef sharks swimming freely above the wreck. More honu, eels and two sandbar sharks swimming freely as well. Then for our final dive we did a drift dive at Fantasea Reef. Saw a fairly large octopus along with honu. Suzanne and Dave didn’t have to worry about sharing their divemaster with other divers since HHD is the only operation on island that GUARANTEES you don’t dive with divers you don’t know.
