David Hoellstedt on the Sea Tiger shipwreck
It had been a little while since David Hoellstedt got his certification. He was absolutely stoked he can say his first dive after certification was on the Sea Tiger shipwreck. Bet he wasn’t expecting to be as close as he was to Hawai’i’s famous green sea turtles. After a couple of pointers I gave him, he looked as though he already had 100 dives under his weight belt. We explored the deep as well as the shallows and we were greeted by plenty of endemic fish known only here to the waters of Hawai’i, as well as devil scorpionfish, more green sea turtles and even more huge yellow margin moray eels.
